United Autosports Le Mans Cup squad head to Portimao for the final round of the 2022 season, marking the team’s sixth complete season in the LMP3 series.
John Schauerman and Wayne Boyd are no stranger to a Portimao Le Mans Cup season finale, having raced for three consecutive years together. This year is no different, they will be fighting hard from the start to achieve a top 10 finish, aiding them in the championship standings.
Wayne Boyd:
“I’m really excited for the final round at Portimão but it’s hard to believe it’s the end of the season. It’s a track I’ve won at before and been on the podium plenty of times so hopefully that will continue. We had a really positive test there a few weeks ago so we’ll be able to hit the ground running. John has been driving fantastically well and we’ve had a strong car all season, so the plan is to finish the year on a high!”
