Kirkistown FAQs

There are lots of B & Bs in the area, plus a couple of hotels not too far away.  The circuit also has one property to rent but it is usually booked by competitors during events.

The phone is usually manned on most days, but on race days it is very intermittent coverage due to race duties. If you are struggling to get in touch try our email address .

We do not currently offer driving experiences. However, Kirkistown Track Days offer motorcycle track days and Trackskills offer car track days.

While many different kind of motorcycle activities do take place at Kirkistown Circuit, the circuit owners do not organise them. For races, contact Belfast & District Motor Club of the Mid-Antrim Motor Club.  For motorcycle track days, contact Kirkistown Track Days. For other motorcycle sporting enquiries, please contact the M.C.U.I.

Yes.  There is a cafeteria which is open for most car, kart and motorcycle events.  There is also a bar.

We have toilets, disabled toilets, baby changing facilities and showers in both the club house and in the main facilities block in the paddock area.  There are also toilet facilities at other points around the circuit.

We strongly discourage animals, other than guide dogs, being brought to Kirkistown during events.

No.  We have no insurance for E-scooters on site.

There are a number of good vantage points, both inside and outside the track.  The bar also has great views of most of the track.  At all times, please respect instructions from marshals and obey prohibited area signs.

No, unless you are officially signalling your driver.

Unfortunately the Wi-Fi at Kirkistown is poor.  This is due to no fibre upgrades having reached us.  We are assured that sometime in 2025 we will be upgraded.

There is access on foot at all times. The paddock and most of the good viewing areas are within the confines of the track.  That means that you can only get in and out when the crossing gate is opened by officials. This is done at the behest of the chief officials of the event.  Usually, there is a delay of anything from 5 minutes to one hour.

There is no charge for parking but you must obey all restricted area signs and the instructions of any officials when parking your vehicle.

There is a large tank situated close to the pit lane/paddock dividing fence, near the garages.  This is the only place to dump waste oil.  Do not use the blue bins!

There are a limited number of electrical hook-ups in the paddock for use of competitors.
